Bio
Jordan Roy (b. 1991) is a painter based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He began in film before exploring music and street art, eventually turning to painting in his mid-twenties.
His work blends abstraction and loose figuration, using bold marks, layered textures, and symbolic forms to explore how spiritual forces and energies influence human behavior, inner life, and the natural world.
Roy sees painting as a spiritual guide—an attempt to channel something larger than himself. This creates a window into the unseen world behind human drive and creativity. In this space, abstract entities appear: angels, demons, the pulse of life and the shadow of death, strong emotional states given shape. Moved by a persistent longing for the unseen and the sacred, his work becomes a space where emotion, mystery, and the subconscious meet.
